Board of Education Meetings:

  • Work Sessions will be held the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Franklin Junior High School Board Room.
  • Regular Board Meetings will be held the fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Franklin High School Media Center.
  • No Work Session meeting scheduled in July or December.
  • All board meetings include time for public comments.
  • Next meeting: July 21, 6 p.m., Franklin High School Media Center.

Alert notification

After school today at approximately 3 pm, an alarm was triggered at Franklin High School. Emergency services were called and immediately responded to the notification. All students and staff remaining in the building after school were safely accounted for and evacuated. The fire department determined the cause of the alarm to be from ongoing construction and it was safe for everyone to return to the building. Students and staff safely resumed their activities. Regular school will proceed tomorrow as scheduled.
