Annual Wildcat Olympics: A day of joy and fun
On a cool but gorgeous May day, there were smiles all around at the fifth annual Wildcat Olympics, which brought together the district’s special education students for a parade, field events, and lunch at the stadium.
Cheering families and friends watched from the stands or lined the track as community members and FHS students assisted with events and the PA system. Classes paraded around the track with banners, then competed in a 100-yard dash, obstacle course, and long jump.
Wildcat Olympics, brainchild of teacher Abby Smallwood, is designed to celebrate students, families, and staff.
