Board of Education Meetings:

Work Sessions will be held the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Franklin Junior High School Board Room.
Regular Board Meetings will be held the fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Franklin High School Media Center.
No Work Session Meeting scheduled in July or December.
Next meeting: April 28, 6 p.m., Franklin High School Media Center.

Fairy Tale Finale

The first grade students at Hunter Elementary hosted a Fairy Tale Finale last week. After studying fairy tales, each student chose a specific fairy tale to use for their writing project. Each student then brainstormed the different types of writing genres they wanted to use for their specific fairy tale. The students wrote in multiple different genres and had their projects displayed during the “Fairy Tale Finale”. Visitors encountered fairy tale characters such as Rapunzel, Jack and his beanstalk, Ariel, and the Big Bad Wolf!
