Dear Franklin City Schools Students, Staff, and Families,
We hope this letter finds you staying safe and warm from our recent winter storm. We were excited to welcome students back to school this week following a much needed winter break. We love to see students returning and our buildings and hallways full.
We are grateful for our maintenance and custodial staff who worked tirelessly to make sure our buildings were ready to welcome students following the recent winter storm. Their hard work has ensured that our schools were safe for students. Additionally, we greatly appreciate the transportation team whose efforts got everyone to school in a safe and timely manner.
Looking ahead, additional snow and potentially hazardous weather conditions are forecast in the afternoon on Friday, which may require us to dismiss school earlier than normal. We are actively monitoring the situation and will provide timely updates to keep everyone informed. The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority.
Your support is greatly appreciated as we navigate the winter weather. Thank you for your partnership in keeping our Franklin family safe.
Sincerely,
Michael Sander
