Welcome back to “Meet-a-Wildcat!” Today we meet Gavin Crase, our new staff member at the high school in the social studies department. His family was raised right here in Franklin. He graduated from FHS in 2016 and still has family attending Franklin City Schools. He recently got married on Aug. 2nd to his fiancee, Anna, in Glacier National Park, Montana. They own a cavapoo named Rory who is 9lbs. and full of energy. His inspiration to be a teacher came from a veteran educator who is now retired from Franklin - Mr. Peters. He made Gavin want to be a teacher through his passion for the subjects he taught as well as his ability to be relatable and to make his students feel welcome and important. He is so pleased to be back at FHS. It has been his dream to teach in our community and considers it a blessing to be welcomed back. Welcome back, Gavin!
