At the end of the school day on November 11, 2019, school administration was made aware of a situation that involved a possible student threat toward our school.  Based on this information, the student’s parents were contacted, and the student was held out of school today pending further investigation. Today, the school administration and the resource officer continued the investigation, which included student interviews.  As a result of that investigation, the student is now facing school disciplinary action and possible legal consequences.

The safety of students and staff at Gerke Elementary is my number one priority.  Please reinforce with your children that if they hear or see something that they think is wrong, to let a trusted adult know.  If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the Gerke Main Office at 743-8650.
