NWEA MAP

K-8 - Administer benchmark assessments in ELA, math for grades K-8, and science for grades 5, 6, 7, and 8.  Students taking algebra will take the Algebra Growth Assessment in NWEA MAP.

9-12 - Math:  Algebra Growth Assessment or Geometry Growth Assessment

ELA:  Reading Growth Assessment 6+

Teachers:

• Log In

• After testing, send home the individual Student Progress Report with the Student Progress Report Quick Reference Guide printed on the back as a parent reference tool.  

• The Student Goal Setting Worksheet is a great tool for setting and writing IEP goals!

Students:

• Log in using the lockdown browser on their machine.

• "Join" the test by typing in the test access code provided by the teacher.

• Are allowed accommodation afforded them by their IEP or 504, if applicable.

AimswebPLUS is a benchmark and a progress monitoring tool for ELA and math for all students in grades K 12.  Refer to the MTSS section for the benchmark administration schedule for the district. To login use the customer ID: 42438 along with your username and password.

What tests do I administer for the Benchmark Screening?

CogAT

• Given to students in grades 2 and 5
• Accommodations per their IEP or 504 apply
• CogAT Login (Data Manager site)
• CogAT Parent Letter Prior to Testing The power of CogAt is in how you can use the data.  See Guide for Teachers

Give the parents the Student Profile Narrative at conferences:

• Directions to print the Student Profile Narrative:  Login into DataManager, Click on Reports, Make sure the correct Test Administration date is showing, change the Display Type to Student Profile Narrative (Scoring Service Print Style), change the grade (Principals can do this) and in Group by-change your class (if it is not already showing) and then click on Run in Background. Go to Report Center to find your file with the reports in it and then print them.
