Ohio Means Jobs is Ohio’s workfoce/career assistance system, and many services are free.

They can assist with:

  • Job searching
  • Resume and interview help
  • Career exploration
  • Training and education
  • Career assessments
  • Childcare assistance referrals
  • Transportation assistance
  • SNAP/TANF and other benefits
  • Unemployment assistance
  • Apprenticeships and on-the-job training

Lead Training: The Franklin High School counselors work closely with LEAD Training, and a program called Career Quest.  This program links senior students with a career coach who will visit FHS monthly or bi-monthly.  The student and career coach work closely throughout senior year to collaborate in the job search, hiring process, etc.  LEAD Training also works with the counselors to connect junior and senior students with appropriate Apprenticeship opportunities.

Please contact your child’s counselor (Kelly Wright or Michelle Judy) for more information.
